I Build Capability Systems
That Actually
Change Organizations.

15+ years leading L&D at every scale — from owning engineering education end-to-end at Twitch to driving enterprise capability transformation at Terminix to advising federal agencies on AI-enabled ways of working. I connect learning to business performance by embedding development into the flow of work, not running it as a separate function.

What I Bring

Where I Work Best

Learning Design & Development

Award-winning instructional design across every modality — eLearning, ILT, vILT, simulations, and performance support. Built in Articulate 360, grounded in adult learning theory, and designed to close the gap between training completed and performance changed.

AI-Enabled Learning & Capability

Fluent in AI as an organizational capability — not just a production tool. I've led AI adoption programs for federal and enterprise workforces, integrated generative AI into design and facilitation workflows, and built Undrift, an AI co-facilitator for meetings, as a practical proof of that fluency.

Program & Organizational Strategy

End-to-end program ownership across LMS strategy, onboarding architecture, change management, and org-wide capability roadmaps. I partner with senior leaders to diagnose organizational needs and build development systems that scale — connecting learning to performance management, career growth, and business transformation.

The Narrative

Built on Craft.
Backed by Strategy.

I started my career at ELB Learning — building bespoke, award-winning courseware for Fortune 500 clients and earning a Brandon Hall Award for Excellence in Learning for best use of games and simulation. That foundation in craft has never left me. But over 15 years, the work has grown from building courses to building systems, and from designing learning to leading organizations through change.

At Twitch, I owned engineering education end-to-end for a 500+ person globally distributed organization — treating it as an internal business unit with a budget, a roadmap, KPIs, and a direct line to engineering leadership. I built the program from scratch, embedded development into team workflows rather than running it as a separate function, and reduced new-hire time-to-first-contribution to under 30 days. At Terminix, I led the Workday Learn LMS transformation for a 10,000+ employee enterprise and designed capability programs for 5,000+ frontline employees across field operations, call centers, and corporate functions.

More recently I've been advising federal agencies and PE-backed enterprises on organizational diagnostics, AI-enabled ways of working, and capability roadmaps that connect learning to business performance — not just training completion.

The thread across all of it: I close the gap between 'training completed' and 'person productive.' That gap is almost always a design and systems problem. I fix it by embedding development into the flow of work, building leaders who can build their own teams, and treating L&D as an organizational capability rather than a department function.

On the AI front — I don't just talk about it. I built Undrift (undrift.io) because I kept hitting the same facilitation problem and decided to fix it rather than work around it. That's how I approach most things. I've also led AI adoption programs for federal and enterprise workforces, helping organizations move from individual tool use to genuine capability at scale.

The Human Element

Meet Ripley

Chief Morale Officer & Service Dog in Training. Good learning design is fundamentally an act of empathy — understanding what learners need, where they struggle, and what will actually change their behavior. Ripley keeps that focus front and center.

When not in back-to-back stakeholder meetings, you'll find me behind a telescope on Twitch — a Partner who translates the complexity of the cosmos for a global audience. Complex ideas, made human. That's the job, in any medium.
